Apicoo Robotics is dedicated to popularizing robotics, aiming to expand the use of daily life applications among a broader audience. Currently, we focus on developing advanced pick-and-place solutions that enable ordinary users to control robots to grasp and manipulate objects effortlessly. Our goal is to enable everyday users to control advanced robotics systems with minimal training, making robotic technology accessible and practical for all.

2024
Partner of HAND ERC
NSF Engineering Research Center for Human AugmentatioN via Dexterity (HAND) is a newly NSF funded Engineering Research Center led by Northwestern University. Core partners include Carnegie Mellon University, Florida A&M and Texas A&M with additional faculty support from Syracuse University, the University of Wisconsin-Madison and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. By joining the HAND ecosystem, Apicoo Robotics gains access to the latest advancements in robotic gripper technologies.
Nvidia Inception Program
With support from the K-Startup Grand Challenge program, Apicoo Robotics began investing in AI to develop a smarter gripper. By joining the NVIDIA Inception program, Apicoo Robotics gained access to cutting-edge AI technologies and resources. The advanced training and detailed guidance from NVIDIA have also helped Apicoo Robotics accelerate their AI research and development.
Samsung C-Lab Program
C-Lab (Creative Lab) is a program operated by Samsung to develop creative ideas into business opportunities and stimulate the South Korean start-up ecosystem. This opportunity, with the access to Samsung’s robust robotics system, opens up a new playground for Apicoo to R&D further innovative products with diverse applications.
2023
K-Startup Grand Challenge
Apicoo Robotics was listed as one of the 20 outstanding startups entering Phase 2 of the program, chosen from a total of 41 startups participating in the acceleration phase. This opportunity granted Apicoo access to a greater range of resources and support from the South Korean ecosystem.
Partner of Swiss Smart Factory
Thanks to the connection of Swiss EP EiR Dr. Thomas Gfeller – CEO of Switzerland Innovation, SusGrip was brought to Switzerland and tested in Swiss Smart Factory. The testing result was positive and SusGrip would soon be installed on a cobot and in a testing cell.
Investment contract with BK Fund
At BK Investor Network Hanoi 2023, Apicoo signed an investment contract with BK Fund to receive seed funding. Apicoo has been using this investment to continue R&D activities and promote the commercialization of smart robotics products.
2022
Release of SuSGrip Smart Gripper
At September 2022, Apicoo Robotics announced the debut of SuSGrip, designed with advanced smart features for collaborative robots
Lab2Market Incubation Program
Apicoo Robotics was one of 8 projects selected from 100+ research projects across Vietnam to participate in Lab2Market Incubation Season 2 to refine our business model and promote sales.

Founding of Apicoo Robotics
Apicoo Robotics was founded in 2021 by Dr. Vo Gia Loc – a scientist with more than 20 years in the robotics industry.
