Cobots and humanoids have transformed what robots can do. But most grippers were still designed around the constraints of the old world - fixed lines, single products, expert operators. The robot evolved, the gripper didn't keep up. We started Apicoo because we believed that had to change. Not with a better version of an existing design. With a new one. That's SusGrip. And that's why we exist.

Apicoo Robotics supplied grippers to Apple Inc., supporting advanced automation research and development.
Apicoo Robotics supplied grippers to Sumitomo Heavy Industry, Ltd. for high-mix, low-volume machine tending in industrial production.
2024
Joined the HAND ERC ecosystem - an NSF-funded center led by Northwestern University advancing robotic dexterity research.
Joined NVIDIA Inception Program to accelerate AI development for smarter gripper technology.
Selected for Samsung's accelerator program, gaining access to advanced robotics systems for R&D.
2023
Ranked top 20 of 41 startups in Phase 2 - gaining resources and network from the South Korean ecosystem.
SusGrip was brought to Switzerland and tested in Swiss Smart Factory. The testing result was positive and SusGrip would soon be installed on a cobot and in a testing cell.
Secured seed funding at BK Investor Network Hanoi to advance R&D and commercialization.
2022
At September 2022, Apicoo Robotics announced the debut of SuSGrip, designed with advanced smart features for collaborative robots.
Apicoo Robotics was one of 8 projects selected from 100+ research projects across Vietnam to participate in Lab2Market Incubation Season 2 to refine our business model and promote sales.

Apicoo Robotics was founded in 2021 by Dr. Vo Gia Loc – a scientist with more than 20 years in the robotics industry.
